For our last event of 2017, we invited Rock Health and Accenture to talk about market intelligence for AI in Healthcare. Both Rock Health and Accenture recently worked on reports examining whats happening in healthcare AI and their predictions for where it's going. SPEAKERS
Megan Zweig
Research Director at Rock Health
Megan leads research for Rock Health, providing data-driven insight on the evolving digital health landscape. Her current research includes separating hype from reality in terms of where AI and machine learning will disrupt healthcare, as well as analyzing consumer trends in the adoption of digital health. Prior to joining Rock Health, Megan worked at The Advisory Board Company, where she led the Physician Executive Council, a best practice research membership supporting Chief Medical Officers at over 1,300 hospitals and health systems nationwide. Her research focused on how health systems can advance a strategy for reducing unnecessary care variation in pursuit of higher-quality, efficient care. Megan graduated cum laude from Duke University, where she earned a B.A. in Public Policy Studies with a focus on health policy.
Richard Fu
Strategy Manager at Accenture
Richard has nearly a decade of experience in corporate growth and innovation in the healthcare industry, advising clients on strategic opportunities through next-gen ventures, platforms, and digital technologies. He is a published thought leader across various digital health topics and currently leads Accenture Health Strategy’s thought leadership efforts in artificial intelligence, recently publishing Artificial Intelligence: Healthcare’s New Nervous System. In addition, he is a co-founder of Healthcare 20/20, a grassroots Accenture think tank on digital health innovations. Richard holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. He is based in Los Angeles.
Lucy Yin
MBA candidate at The Wharton School
Formerly, Accenture
Lucy is a first year MBA candidate at The Wharton School where she is a Kaiser Merit Fellow in the Health Care Management program. At Wharton, Lucy is a board member of the Wharton Digital Health Club and Innovation & Design Club, where she leads the UPenn Healthcare Design Challenge, the largest student-run healthcare design thinking challenge. In addition, Lucy leads several student-startup partnerships with healthcare analytics and AI startups such as Sensely and Haystack Informatics. Prior to Wharton, Lucy led Marketing on the Growth Team at Big Health, a Series B mental health startup. Previously, Lucy was also a Consultant at Accenture Strategy where she focused on healthcare innovation and founded Accenture Health Strategy's AI community. Lucy received undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics from Duke University.
