Patient Driven Sequencing, Computation and Search for Treatment.

On March 8th we are excited to host Onno Faber and Mo Rahman:

Onno Faber: Tech Founder, Neurofibromatosis Type 2 Patient.

Mo Rahman: Computational Biochemist, Genomic Researcher and Founder.

Onno's story is about neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), what led him to get sequencing data for his tumors, and then pursue computational analysis for treatment options. Onno is an incredible example of the future of healthcare - where greater numbers of patients will be able to access computational genomics and individualized medicine.

Our second talk will feature Onno's collaborator, Mo Rahman from Genedrop. Mo will give a technical presentation on using computational methods to find mutations and treatment options based on Onno's sequencing data. Prepare for an inspiring story of computational-patient-led-medicine (and a technical deep dive) happening right now.
