Sebastian Thrun
"Stanley & Google's Self Driving Car"
Sebastian is a co-Founder of Google X where he started Google’s Autonomous Car program. Previously, he led the development of the robotic vehicle Stanley which won the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge. Sebastian also led Stanford’s AI Lab, and taught in the computer science department at Carnegie Mellon University. He now has set his sights on democratizing higher education with the founding of Udacity and serves as a Research Professor at Stanford University. Sebastian has been named the 5th Most Creative Person in Business (Fast Company), among the 50 Smartest People in Tech (Fortune), and highlighted in 50 Best Inventions of 2010 (Time).

Danny Shapiro
"Accelerating the Race to Self-Driving Cars"
Danny Shapiro is Senior Director of NVIDIA’s Automotive Business Unit, focusing on solutions that enable faster and better design of automobiles, as well as in-vehicle solutions for self-driving cars, infotainment systems, and digital instrument clusters. Danny holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from the Hass School of Business at UC Berkeley. Danny serves on the Advisory Boards for the LA Auto Show, the Connected Car Council and the NVIDIA Foundation which focuses on computational solutions for cancer research.
