Co-Founder & CEO at CytoVale
Ajay is an expert in cell-based diagnostic technologies, as well as an experienced entrepreneur, having previously co-founded two life science companies( one acquired in 2012). Ajay received his Ph.D from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, where he developed a novel platform for circulating tumor cell isolation under the supervision of Mehmet Toner at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Co-Founder & VP Engineering at Cytovale
Henry is leading the research and development efforts to commercialize the microfluidic deformability cytometry technology in Cytovale. Henry received his Ph.D from UCLA, where he worked on Microfluidic Biotechnology with Professor Dino Di Carlo. His science and engineering expertise spans microfluidics, cancer biology, image processing, and application proof-of-concept clinical studies. Henry is the co-inventor of the deformability cytometry platform.
Partnership and Translational Research Manager at Owkin
Meriem is experienced in research management. Prior to joining Owkin, Meriem was a Consultant at AEC Partners and a Research Project Manager at Institut Curie in Paris, France. She received her M.Sc. in Biological/ Biosystems Engineering from MIT, and her Ph.D in Computational Biology/ Cancer Biology from Institut Curie.
CEO at Portal Telemedicina
Rafael is an artificial intelligence research expert who founded Portal Telemedicina. Rafael led the research of Artificial Intelligence Life Analytics in FAPESP - São Paulo Foundation of Research, coordinated the government R&D grant on advancing IOT platform applied to Telemdicine, and founded NGO Sociedade Verde (Green Society), a company that brings personal and regional autonomy through environmental friendly solution. Prior to working in the healthcare field, Rafael spent ~ 5 years in Stock Trading and managing offshore investments and funds for Latin America.
COO at Portal Telemedicina
Roberto is leading the effective and cost-reducing operation of systems of management reporting, information flow and management, overall business process, and organizational planning in Portal Telemedicina. Prior to Telemedicina, Roberto spent 4 year in graphic design, creating Websites, 3D logos, 3D models/Environments and 3D movie scenes, include 3D prototypes for Sociedade Verde’s projects and graphic videos for an ecological simulator game.
Co-Founder and CEO at Nanowear, Inc
Venk co-founded Nanowear, Inc in 2014 and serves as its CEO. Before Nanowear, Venk spent 7 years in Technology Investment Banking, focusing exclusively on venture-backed software and communications technology in which he successfully advised growth companies in over $3bn USD worth of transactions at UBS Investment Bank, Citadel Investment Group and Wells Fargo Securities in New York. After investmen banking, Venk co-founded and served as the CEO for V-Twinz Productions for 11 years.
Venk received his Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University in Finance & Entrepreneurship and his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Duke University.
